About
I am not going to nod at you for fifty minutes.
I am a licensed clinical psychologist in Denver, Colorado. I work with adults on trauma, anxiety, and burnout — the things that are hard to admit are still running the show.
Plenty of people arrive here having already tried therapy. Often it was fine. Often it was also vague: a warm hour that never quite got anywhere. I do a different kind of work. We will get specific about what is happening, use methods that have evidence behind them, and track whether things are actually changing.
That does not mean it is cold or clinical. It means the warmth has a spine. You should leave sessions with something — language, a skill, a shift — not just the sense that you talked.
How I work
What you can expect
Specific over soothing
Comfort matters, but it is not the product. We name the pattern, find the mechanism, and change something. Vagueness is the enemy of progress.
Evidence, applied to you
EMDR, CBT, ACT, and parts work are tools, not identities. I pick what fits the problem in front of us and tell you why I picked it.
You keep the wheel
You decide what we open and when. My job is to make sure you know what the options are and what each one is likely to cost and give you.
Honest progress checks
Every six to eight weeks we ask directly whether this is helping. If it is not, we change the plan — including referring you on to someone better suited.
The space
Where the work happens
A quiet suite downtown with good light, comfortable chairs, and a door that closes. Telehealth is available anywhere in Colorado.
